Treadle parts problematic

"I bought my Luna a few weeks ago and the treadle components were a problem from the start. I had to take the left treadle mechanism completely apart. Come to find out the piece has been poorly machined and the small screw could not be tightened far enough to keep it from slipping on the rod during treadling. While this should have been obvious and immediately caught while the wheel was tested, it was not. My husband managed to do a little rethreading where the screw goes in, but it’s been a real mess to figure this out."
