"Another great book from Linda Hendrickson. Very clear and makes double faced tablet weaving easy."

Classic tablet-weaving book

"There really aren't that many books about tablet weaving, but this is one of the older ones, and it is well worth having. The subtitle is ""50 Designs from Around the World"", and Ms Hendrickson has selected and carefully graphed a good selection of interesting double-faced motifs / patterns from various world cultures. Her graphs are straightforward to understand, and she has documented her sources. She has also included an overview of tablet weaving techniques. In my opinion, this is not an immediate jump-in book for a beginner because her motifs are either 48 or 56 cards wide, and I'm challenged by more than 30 cards even though I'm reasonably comfortable with the 2-pack approach. However, her choices show what's possible, so I think that this book is worth purchasing even if you don't yet feel capable of executing them!"
