The Crackle Weave

Crackle weave is a name give to a style of Swedish weaving call ‘Jamtlandsvav’. It gives the effect of crackle in pattern or batik. It was introduced into this country by Mary M. Atwater in 1927. This book is designed for weavers not familiar with the design possibilities of this type of weaving. Lots of charts and pictures.
