What Customers Say

Rated 4.3 out of 5 — 3 verified reviews

This hackle has a working area 12" with a base that clamps down to a table or workbench. The wood is beautifully finished with Danish Oil. The Double Row hackle is suitable for de-hairing double coated fleeces and excellent for color blending combed or carded fleeces. We designed this hackle specifically to utilize the blending techniques described by Deb Menz in her Fiber Preparation DVD

Ok quality, stellar customer service

"I bought this to go with my double row fine maple wool combs also purchased from the Woolery to comb my alpaca fleece. I use this hackle to pull larger rolls of roving. This is a good hackle for the price and comes with a beautiful cover to protect the tines. The shape of the base allows for easy clamping. I had an issue where two of the tines became wiggly/loose not long into using it but Woolery and the manufacturer worked quickly to repair the broken hackle. STELLAR customer service! The only other complaint is that the tips of some of the tines came with sharp burrs/edges for some reason, but doesn't seem to be a problem regardless. But for the price point and the overall quality, I would highly recommend."
