Size

These looms are good beginner rigid heddle looms, yet they are also used by professionals. Lightweight and portable, they feature beam teeth for ease in warping (nice for tapestry too!) and can easily handle up to 5 yards. They come in 20 or 24 inch weaving widths.  All are finished with Danish oil, made of cherry and feature a ratchet tension system in addition to steel beamed friction system.

Features:

  • 10-dent heddle
  • 2 stick shuttles
  • pickup stick
  • separate heddle blocks
  • sleying hook (Fits through 8 Dent heddle eye and slots. For 10 & 12 Dent heddles this hook may be used on the slots only.)
  • complete instructions

Optional Accessories:

Companion Products

Please note that if using the direct warping method with this loom, you will need to purchase a warping peg and clamps separately.

Nice and affordable

"This loom is easy to assemble and use. The maker of the loom has a video on YouTube, in case you need help. Different size heddles and stand are available separately. This size, 24 inch, does not fold, but the smaller size does. One thing I dislike is the block for changing the shed. It would be nice to have slots for the different shed positions, up/down/neutral. Otherwise, I like the loom and think it's a good loom to start with."

Great loom, easy to use

"Well made loom. The wood is beautiful and sturdy. Have used it yet, but am looking forward to it. I would recommend. this loom. Well worth the money."

Ehh

"All four knobs broke on the first use, I have been using pliers to loosen/tighten the beams until I can get some wing nuts to replace them. Besides that its decent though I wish I didn’t get the cheapest one I could find. Doesn’t come with a warping peg or board so you’ll have to buy one if you’re brand new to it."
