Icelandic Sheep have a dual coat fleece. The fleece is open and airy with very little grease. The coarse, long outercoat is called (tog) and the inner coat is called (thel) which is fine and soft. The two coats spun together can be used as outer garments. The undercoat spun by itself is soft enough to be used for next to the skin garments while the long out coat spun by itself is strong enough for floor coverings. This fleece is very nice, with little vegetable matter or second cuts.
