Regular go-to

"I've used this before and I'm always delighted. It was the first wool where i felt like i was actually spinning yarn. Now I use it as the base for a three ply three color yarn regularly, and the combination (this, wensleydale white, Blueface leicter brown) is gorgeous in stripes and looks almost like lace when knit the way the colors mix. It's a staple in my spinning."

Welsh Top

"I was surprised how dark the black Welsh Top was. I have spun this as is, and I have used it for blending with other fibers. Very nice wool and easy to spin"

Really great feel and easy to spin with

"As a beginner spinner, this Welsh top has been super lovely to work with and get consistent yarn out of! Very soft too!"

"As always, just what I wanted and needed!"

Spins great

"This top is a beautiful black. Because Welsh is a sturdier and not Merino soft, I plan to spin and knit for a beautiful hat. I love trying new type of sheep fleece top, and especially those not seen every day. It spun easily and there was no shrinkage when I washed my sample in very hot water. I like this wool."

Welsh Top Black

"This fibre is very nice to spin on my drop spindle. Although I am a relatively new spindle spinner, I find it produces a very nice single. I am hoping to ply it with a natural fibre for a dramatic look."

Simply divine

"Spinning with this is a true delight. I'm finally mastering yarn instead of thread with this lovely black wool."
