Trixie Spindle

Here is a new twist on a very old design - a square drop spindle.  This is your square peg that fits very nicely in a round hole, thank you. wonderfully!

The Trixie's spindle shaft is made of oak and is about 12 inches in length and 3/8 in diameter.  The whorl is made of mahogany and is about 3 inches in diameter.  Trixie is hand rubbed in Danish oil and weighs 1.3 to 2.0 ozs.
