This padded bag is designed with your yarn swift in mind. When you spend over $50 for a tool, you want it to last and last. You can store it in style.
Every swift owner has a similar dilemma. They own a large wooden tool that when not in use frequently; falls over, gets caught on things, and creates a general nuisance. Or if clamped onto a table, would benefit from a nice padded dust cover. The bags in the picture show approximately 28" long and has a 14" circumference. It is made to hold the average wooden swift. A color coordinated drawstring stopper, and a wooden bead help you cinch the bag closed. Also for storage or transport a thick cotton webbed handle has been sewn in with a box cross for extra sturdiness, perfect for hanging or toting it where ever you need to go. Completed with double stitching and a thick fleece interfacing so that it will also protect your swift from those occasional bumps and falls.
Any additional pieces can be stored still screwed into the swift. Or just inside the bag and the locked drawstring will keep them from falling out.
