The Sweet Lu Spindle
The Sweet Lu is a back to basics, simple, lovely, top-whorl drop spindle. She is elegant, yet practical. Sweet Lu is great for the beginner or the spindleholic collector.
The spindle shaft is made of birch, while the whorl is made of ash. The whorl is 3 inches in diameter and the spindle is 3/8 of inch thick and about 12 inches in length. The spindle and whorl are hand rubbed in Danish oil and weigh 1.6 ounces.
