SOY SILK
Another exciting cutting edge fiber, this one made from SOY BEANS: it is made from the dredge of soybean oil. Normally this waste product would have become fertilizer or fodder but some inventive people have created a fine silk like fiber with it. It is quite lustrous, warm, very strong and very drapable. Available in light honey color or white. Looks like silk but is much less expensive!
