Sheer Delight - Handwoven Transparencies

One of the nice things about this and many other weaving books is the inspiration it provides. A transparency is woven on a fine warp, with the pattern areas inlaid with a heavier yarn. When mounted in front of a window, the warp seems to disappear with the pattern appears suspended in air.

Dozens of weavers supplied the author with examples of their work. This is a well-rounded look at transparency weaving.
