Polwarth Wool Top
Polworth fiber is a fine wool breed. After crossbreeding Merino and Lincoln sheep a new breed was established in 1880 in Australia. The new breed was called Polwarth and is 3/4 Merino and 1/4 Lincoln. Polwarth sheep produce a very fine wool with a micron count of 23 and a staple length of up to 6 inches. A perfect balance of microns and length of fiber.
