Howard Brush Drum Carder

These carders are adjustment free and made from solid hardwood - not particle board! Each drum carder comes with an attached clamp so that it can be secured to your work table for ease of use. The David - A quality inexpensive premier triple drum carder that comes fully assembled and is made out of solid, unfinished hardwood. The overall size is 15 inches long (not including the 10 inch pull out wool tray), 17 inches wide and 10 inches high. The main drum or swift is 8.5 inches wide and 8 inches in diameter and the other two drums are 8.5 inches wide and 2.5 inches in diameter. It has a bat size of 8 x 22 inches, and is ideal for most types of fibers. The advantage of the triple drum carder is it takes only half as much turning to produce the same quality bat.
