Harrisville 45 inch Floor Loom
This maple loom from Harrisville has the size and versatility that experienced weavers need and beginners can consider. It has a weaving width of 45 inches. The high castle design is a standard feature which creates a perfect place for the optional tool tray.
This popular loom can be ordered with 8 harnesses or 4 harnesses now and 4 later. The number of harnesses you need will depend on the complexity of the patterns you want to work on. If you are interested in pattern drafting and complicated weave structures, eight harnesses will give you a lot of flexibility and allow you to fully develop your interests
Breast and back beams are easily removed for convenient threading. A pump handle advance using a dog and ratchet on the cloth beam and friction break release for the warp beam give complete tension control that can be adjusted to fit any particular need. The beater is open-sided and adjustable.
Folds to 32 inches x 54 inches. Weighs 135 lbs.
Loom includes a carbon steel reed (select your dent - 6, 8, 10, 12 or 15) - please specify in comments at checkout. The 8 harness has 1000 Heddles, the 4 harness has 800.
