Susanna is a good choice for the beginner, as it is an easy to use rigid heddle loom. This gives you two sheds for weaving plain weave.
The loom frame is sturdy, but very portable. The back of the frame can be made into a warping frame for winding your warp. Just turn it upside down and insert the dowels.
Susanna is made from birch and has an inside width of 70 cm (27").
It comes with lease sticks, two long flat shuttles, 15 beaming sticks, and a 10 ends per inch heddle. Included are a warping frame on the back of the loom and two clamps if you wish to secure the Susanna to a table top. A 10 ends per inch heddle and a floor stand are also available.
