"As a beginning spinner, I really enjoyed working with the flax top. It has a nice, long staple, and quickly worked up into a nice, chunky thread. I used it as weft with a cotton rug warp on my Ashford rigid heddle loom. With a 15 dent heddle it made a nice thick fabric. I sewed a yarn and spindle bag, and crocheted a strap."
