Bluster Bay End Feed Shuttles
For perfect selvedges and speedy weaving. Unlike other end-feed shuttles these do not require a tool for threading or tension adjustment, and the tension can be adjusted during weaving without breaking the weft or unthreading the shuttle.
These are available in two sizes: 13" (will take a 5.5" AVL pirn) and 15" (will take an 8" AVL or Schacht pirn). Pirns sold separately.
How does it work The yarn comes off the end of the pirn and through the round brass eye. To apply tension, you guide the yarn around one or more of the brass hooks; the more hooks used the more tension. To adjust for more or less tension, just increase or decrease the number of hooks in play. Easy.
