Hackle
This hackle has a working area of 8",12" or 18" (Laminated model is 18" Only) with a base that clamps down to a table or work bench. Each set includes hackle, hackle cover, c-clamp and a tine straightener. The wood is beautifully finished with Danish Oil. The Double Row hackle is suitable for de-hairing double coated fleeces and excellent for color blending combed or carded fleeces. We designed this hackle specifically to utilize the blending techniques described by Deb Menz in her book Color in Spinning which we recommend to go along with the hackle.
WE STOCK MAPLE 12". Also available as a special order in 8" and 18" in Cherry, Black Walnut and a beautiful laminate. Please allow 2 - 3 weeks for delivery of special order hackles .
