This is the original contemporary spinning wheel (machine) made with furniture PVC, weighing only a little over 7 1/2 pounds. Comes as a complete kit with lazy kate (for plying), six bobbins (3 of 5:1 ratio and 3 of 6:1 ratio), 1/4 pound of Brown Sheep Wool roving, Babe's Sure Foot, and how to spin instructions.
It is very light weight, easy to carry, very portable and easy to pack in a suitcase.This is a great, inexpensive spinning wheel to start with. Yes, it is made of PVC plastic pipe but it works very well. Wheel diameter: 17 3/4". Orifice: 3/8". Ball bearings. Assembles in minutes.
