ALPACA FLEECE
Alpaca is at least 3 times warmer and much finer than most sheep wools, so it is not itchy. There is no natural grease such as the lanolin. So you don't have to wash the fleece before you can spin it. Most hand spinners spin raw, unwashed alpaca into yarn and then wash the finished yarn. Great for blending, felting, spinning. The alpaca we have is very soft, beautiful, and clean (very little, if any dirt or vegetable matter). Comes in 4 oz. bags.
If you want enough to spin for a sweater, you'll need approximately 2 lbs. of fleece
