A word about on-line color cards

For the yarns we sell, we offer on-line color cards in addition to the color cards by the manufacturer. The on-line color cards are a good way to compare colors but please realize that a number of factors come into play when attempting to judge color on a computer screen. How the picture was prepared by us, the impact the format (jpg for the most part) has on the graphic and the set-up of your computer screen may mean that certain colors (most notably red hues) will not be totally accurate. If true colors are an important component controlling your color selection, then we suggest you purchase a color card.

PENCIL ROVING, 100% WOOL Color Card

Nice for knitting, crocheting or weaving (weft only), this 100% wool pencil roving is made from soft Columbia sheep's wool and great for fulling (knitting and felting) a garment. It comes in natural and dyed colors. More colors to come. Most knitters like to double, triple or quadruple this roving, using 2-4 strands, one from the outside and one from the inside of a cheese. FINGERLAKES SOFT WOOL

Spun in a small mill in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York, Fingerlakes Yarns are crafted with pride with U.S. soft wool. Fin[Fingerlakes Logo]gerlakes uses Delaine Merino, Rambouillet Merino, and Merino-cross wool, which are the finest grades of wool grown.
