WDW Hand Over Dyed Wool Fabric

This gorgeous 100% hand dyed premium wool fabric is colorfast, felted and perfect for rug hooking. Can also be used for wool appliqué penny rugs, pillows, purses, clothing and the finishing of cross stitch and needlepoint pieces. Wool with heat-set woven, fusible interfacing can also be used for punch-needle. We offer each color in three patterns; solid, hounds-tooth and herringbone. The three can be used separately or mixed within a design or project. We sell it by the quarter yard and it is precut into "Fat Quarters". We offer it by the yard as a special order, which takes about a week (please call).

Snap Dragon Frames

Fine Frames for Old Fashioned Rug Hooking

The Snap Dragon Frame uses a compound lever system with magnets, which amplifies the amount of force you apply to stretch your rug backing. A small amount of movement is all that is necessary to put a large amount of tension on the rug backing. The frames self-lock into place.

The 17.125" x 14.625" frame leaves an ample 13.5" X 11 ' working area and can be mounted on several different base and leg assemblies so you can choose your preferred mode of hooking. It is comfortable to handle, well balanced and weighs between 4.75 and 6.5 lb.'s, depending on the model.

Made primarily of poplar with either cherry or walnut accents. The woods are hand sanded and finished with several coats of clear lacquer to bring out the natural beauty and character of the wood. The Deluxe Frame has milled aluminum accents for added strength and durability. The legs are made of lightweight but strong aluminum strapping, adding a silvery touch.

These frames are the finest on the market and come with a limited 1 year warranty.
3 year limited warranty is provided on the Deluxe model.

Puritan Rug Hooking Frame
An excellent frame, the Puritan Frame has the convenient gripper feature. It is solidly built and measures 12x16. Optional stand sold separately. The rectangular frame holds stainless steel gripper strips that securely grasp the rug foundation while you work. The rug is easily repositioned to the appropriate work area. The upper and right arms of the frame can rotate to tighten the work surface. The base is pre-drilled to fit the optional stand shown.
