Line in Tapestry

Author: Kathe Todd-Hooker

The author writes:

OK, right from the start, let me say this is neither a beginning tapestry book nor a book of basic tapestry techniques. This book is meant as a guide, a source book, or suggestion of what you can do with those tapestry techniques that you already know and want to use in weaving your designs. It is meant as a handbook to weaving lines in tapestry. It is assumed that you already understand basic tapestry technique. For help in understanding basic techniques, look for other books on the subject of tapestry weaving from Fine Fiber Press.

I would like to point out that if you have taken my classes in the past and have some of the extensive handouts I have given, the information presented in this book has been expanded upon. In some cases things have been added or changed because further research, more experience, new products, and times have made it important to update and change certain areas.

It should be noted, that in this book, all of the weaving techniques are explained as being done from the front of the tapestry unless otherwise stated.
