Alpaca Silk

Alpaca silk is a luxurious blend of 80% baby alpaca and 20% silk, a combination that produces beautiful soft fabric with a subtle sheen that is a delight to knit as well as wear. Alpaca silk comes in a colour palette that echoes the season's shades and moods, with a rich berry and claret, indigo and forest greens, contrasting with apricot and baby blue.
A twelve design booklet accompanies the yarn, with the styles reflectingthe softness of alpaca and the drape of silk, with form fitting sweaters and wrap around jackets with deep, enveloping collars. There is stitch detail in trellis style textures that open into ribs and open work cables, but there are also simple knits in easy stocking stitch.
